Oncue again we are joined by Guest blogger egoitz, who inform us on the latest Tournament he holds.
The 25th of June, Euskal Retro association organized the XI. Basque Tournament of Commodore Amiga 500, one of our favourites retroconsole/retrocomputer that we continue playing it during the year. This time 5 players in total met, this time, in “Bar Almirante” (San Ignacio, Bilbao) again. Like always we connect the Amiga 500 to the tv it was a funny and nice afternoon. Before playing Amiga 500 we played Amstrad CPC 464 and Intellivision, and after it was Sega Saturn
We played 4 games of this spectacular computer:
- Pang, a classic from the 90s in arcades;
- P-47 Thunderbolt, a cool warplane game;
- Mega Phoenix; a classic in our tournaments of Commodore Amiga 500, simple game but great made by Dynamics; and finally
- Mr.Do!, an interesting new game in our tournaments that we will play again.
In the end, Egoitz was the best player because he achieved more points but the rest of players enjoyed with the Amiga 500 and this is the msot important of these tournaments. Great job of Daniel, who finished in the second position, just with a one point less than Egoitz. I think and I hope to organize a new basque tournament in december of this year if all goes well. I will try to include new games and wish to have more friends around the Commodore Amiga 500 and play more games. Here you can look the results:
