Se we are entering the fourth and final quarter of 2025, we are now in 40 plus years territory for Amiga world and from what I can see and what’s been announced over the past few months, the Amiga world continues to be in a very strong position.
Since my last blog and Amiga 40 celebrations, we had The A1200 announced by Retro Games Ltd, a full size (likely emulated) A1200 replica. The Apollo / Vampire team announced their A6000 computer, a FPGA apollo 4 in a A600 style case. (updated the FPGA Amigas page to cover this)
Amigakit also seem to tease a possible A4000, in a tweet and the fact they secured the A4000.com domain, I have also heard that Checkmark / steve jones wants to do a tower thats nods to the A4000 Tower. So we might have another Amiga type machine on the way! Indeed Amigakit A1200NG / A600GS seem like they had success and are receiving quite a few updates, a big one is a modern web browser for Amibench, its custom ArosOS for these platform.
