3. ExecSG Multicore in Alpha

Basically, finally multicore support is still being worked on and hopefully will come to AmigaOs4.1

4. Virtio GPU Driver / Enhancer Software 2.3

This is the virtual GPU driver that will help improve AmigaOs4 under emulation on QEMU setup, looks to be part of the upcoming Enhancer Software 2.3 which is due soon.

5. Amistore 68K

A-EON digital software store coming soon, I think to all platforms. But also to Amibench its OS for its A1200NG / A600GS system.

6. Mirari PowerPC Board

Working boards at Amiga Germany 40, its a QorlQ T1042 Multicore CPU (e5500)– 1.5Ghz PPC system, MorphOS already running. AmigaOs4.1 planned port. Cost Under £800, if its more it will be scrapped, as this is designed to be a low cost PPC Amiga entry https://mirari.vitasys.nl/

7. Pistorm eGPU and PPC coming soon!!!!

The big news to me, was faster GPU support and PPC support coming to Pistorm/Eu68. This means that AmigaOs4.1 Classic might get a huge boost in support and help PPC developments.

8. Pocketstorm ITX

Basically a FPGA system with Pistorm, this might be a really good low cost solution for a very powerful Amiga system.

9. Amiga Keyboards

A1200.net finally taking pre-orders for their new mechanical keyboard, https://www.a1200.net/amiga-mechanical-keyboard/ also Sordan had their keyboards for sale at the Amiga40 too, https://sordan.ie/product/1624/ts1200-black-mechanical-keyboard—amiga-1200-red-switches/

So finally, I think the long question of where can we get new Amiga keyboards from will be gone.

Quick Show Review

So I was lucky enough to attend the event, it was great seeing so many Amiga and new choices, seeing the A6000 in person was good, I am more tempted than I should be to get one. It was great to get to see and test out the new Amiga keyboard offerings from Sordan and A1200.net. They both seem very solid options, but I think A1200.net feels slightly closer to Amiga and of course they can accept Amiga keycaps.

I got to say hi and thanks to the Amikit developer, its always nice to meet and thank devs personally for their work, I still think this is the best example of what can be done with AmigaOs.

The highlight for me was getting to see the AmigaMCC prototype and finally getting to look inside, even if it is just wood this was a really cool moment. It was the computer that made me start amigang.com and dream about the next generation of Amiga’s! It’s still a great design. The guy who owns it did show me inside the case. So cool to finally see it again.

Inside the Amiga MCC!

Petro Tyschtschenko signed the inside. It was quite funny talking to the guy who owned it, he a collector of all the rare Amiga / Commodore stuff and hopes to make and display it all in a museum, which I’m pleased about, but he was going on about a really rare Amiga and commodore machines, but I’m sorry to the guy, I was only really interested in the Amiga MCC, lol. I know I’m likely the only one who got more exited seeing it that all the other rare prototypes on display, Everyone has their one holy grail, I guess.

So all in all it was a great show, the amount of people and projects and developments in the Amiga world really pleases me to see the community so strong. Thanks to all the people who put on the show.
