Here to a Happy 2025

So it’s nearly 2025, or it is by the time you read it, the big 40th Year of Amiga, I’ve already seen plans being made for multiple Amiga shows around the world to celebrate this fact. I hope to go to the UK, Kickstarter show again, and I’m making plans to attend the German 40th Amiga show. If it’s affordable, I might even do the big one planned for USA. I was lucky enough to be able to go to the 30th show. It was great meeting so many of the original team that put the Amiga together.

As the Amiga World enters 2025, there is a lot to be grateful for, we still have a great community and many projects and new toys coming out. The big one that got announced by Amigakit just before Christmas was the A1200NG.

The next Amibench powered hardware, similar to the A600GS, but designed to fit A1200 cases. I have there for changed the A600GS page to Amibench Hardware page as this might be the start of a whole line of ARM based system for Amiga. More on Hardware: Amibench Page.

Amikit 11 also got released for Free, in my mind the best example of what a modern Amiga can be! If you not given it a try, I would recommend it! Find out more here.

I also had a bit of fun with Ai to try and sum up the Amiga world in 2024. Thanks to Google NotebookLM it also allows you to turn it into a Podcast, it interesting what Ai picks out what it thinks, its not perfect but just 1 year ago you couldnt do this, who know where the tech will lead in a few year time!
