68K+ and Zzap
So I recently got to go to ZZap live 2024 event in the Uk, more aimed at the Commodore 64 scene but also is an Amiga show.

Last blog I touch on the merging new classic Amiga market, which I’m now official referring to the 68K+ Market on this site anyway. I plan to make my next blog just about the 68K+ but for this blog I thought I list the software and games that I know about that really targets or only really plays well on these high spec Amigas. Here my list so far:
OS for 68K+
- Amikit xe ( pi & pistorm) High end desktop environment
- Amibench (a600gs) high end desktop
- ApolloOS (vampire)
- CoffinOS (vampire, pi, pistorm)
Software only for these platform
- Amigentorator (mega drive emulator)
- Riva (vampire) video player
- Software that greatly befits
- Hollywood & Hollywood designer
- Lightwave / 3d apps
- Web browser
- Video player
- Shapeshifter / Mac apps
- Emulators in general (like pc task/dosbox)
Games only for these platform
- Heretic 2
- Gorky17
- Wipeout68
- Jake & peppy (vampire)
- Diablo (vampire)
- Games that greatly befits
- Quake
- Doom
- In fact Any FPS (duke nukem, alien breed 3d 2 etc)
- TFX
- Open dune / open Ra
- Emulators for games ( Mac games, scummVM etc)

I’ve also recently added A600GS on to its own page, I felt it was a big enough product launch and enough interest and discussions about it, that it felt it need its own page on my Site. It hard to judge sometimes what product should get its own page. I feel I have the balance just about right, the only other product that I feel maybe should get more is Vampire V4. Maybe one day it will, but for now I think i have it about right, if you dont agree, let me know.
